Default Plug Help Needed

OK...NGK says that running their "V Power Racing" series non-resistor plugs(plugs whose numbers start with "R") can cause electro magnetic interference and possibly damage our PCM's.
Who all on here runs the "R" series race plugs and have you had any problems with them? This is not a strip only car. I drive quite a bit on the street.

Also, is their a resistor type plug that is exactly like the TR6 only 2 steps colder? NGK says no in the V power series. They recommend the "TR8IX" which is an iridium plug and they go for seven plus bucks apiece!!??

Help!! Thanks
