Default Air dam needed?

First off, Im in Anchorage, Alaska so in the summer we see 80+ degrees for like a week or 2. I ended up chopping off the right side of my air dam to run intercooler piping and im seriously considering not putting the whole piece back on. I have an 00 T/A WS6 that is turboed running 2 12" pusher fans. Im told this may cause overheating but Im not sure if it will. If nothing else Im thinking of going with like some 18 gauge steel or aluminum and making a smaller air dam that is angled for better air flow but im also considering doing something to direct air flow down from the ram air towards the radiator/condenser. Thanks in advance

I removed my airdam a long time ago and seen no probs at all. Even if my temps got higher, it was nothing noticeable on the gauge. Now I have nothing to worry about for sure: no a/c, no bumper reinforcement, no plastic and cut grill section

this may or may not help you, but i removed the windshield fluid reservoir and it opens up the space between the radiator a lot and gave me some cooler temps

I have an opening cut in my bumper for the IC, Im sure that will open up air flow. I was also thinking of getting rid of the washer fluid reservoir for a smaller one...or just not run one at all lol

Oh ya, no washer bottle either. I normally never let mine get dirty either, but it's pretty dusty from suiting until the build is complete come February. I agree that as long as the airflow is expanded, u should see no problems
