What Head is this?
with out a doubt a stock head...its a 241 casting, they came on most 01 to 04 camaros t/a's and gtos. i dont recall seein that number stamped on stock tho....they might b ported

well it has a 241 stamp on it indicating its a stock GM casting. No telling if its been worked over or not, like porting, milling, valve job, bigger valves etc.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the tuner said stock heads that have more than likely been ported. Starting to doubt a lot of what the previous owner told me. Time to get in on the rollers and see if there any other surprises.

Just wanted to set things straight. This turned out to be my bad not the previous owner's. They are the stock heads but they were thoroughly worked over BY AFR not replaced with AFR heads. Ported and inside are Titanium retainers, comp springs, chrome molly push rods and an AFR cam.
