'99 vs. '02 headers?

Is there any real difference if any with piping/bends on these headers or is it just the provisions? My buddy has some he's willing to sell me but his was a '99 and didnt know if they would fit my '02. Thanks in advance.

Everything will fit. You will just need to buy and EGR block off plate for the EGR port on the header.

We have them here:

Its the 99-86EGR.

Thanks man. Im looking through the website now. What o2 extension would I need though? Would I be alright with a 12"? Seems like they're all square 4-pin.

If you are in need of O2s you can run the long vette rear O2s instead of buying extensions. Several companies make them with a Bosch part number interchange of #13111. Search around you can find them. I treat 02s like spark plugs in performance applications, changing them out pretty regularily.

Thanks for the part number. I'll look around and see. Is it recommended to change them out regularly? If so how often?

you shouldnt have to change the o2's regularly on a typical application, but for some reason, with long tubes, the o2's on these cars like to get lazy real quick. i change mine every season or when i think its starting to get lazy going into closed loop or running rich.
