Wrap results??

Wrap results?? There has been all kinds of bad press about how wrap should not be used on headers for a daily driver. Has anyone used this on a dd for more than a couple years?? What were the results??
Since there have been some horror stories about wrapping the primaries...has anyone considered just wrapping from the collector (connection) on back for several feet?? Could this provide better scavenging without the negative effects I have read about when doing the primaries??
