Default flowmaster merge

i recently went to a lm2 bullet muffler from a lm1 to get rid of most of the rasp. it still has a little bit at around 1200-1500 rpm. i have a old design tsp ory and was thinking about modifying it with a flowmaster merge. does anybody know the part number for the flowmaster merge i need? and do you think it will help eliminate rasp? thanks.

Its dual 3" to single 4" but it does come with a reducer from 4" to 3" if you need it.

The catback is 3" and the Y-Pipe is 3", why would you need the 4" in there? They make a 3" to 3" merge.

It would be good to do a 4" into a 4" cutout, then back down to 3" into the catback. But if no cutout....3".

I believe it will help reduce rasp/drone. My car has neither with flowmaster merge no cats and magnaflow. Its way quieter (less drone and rasp) than my stock Y with loudmouth unless i'm really on it.

Plus, the Y pipe Merging two 3" pipes into one 3" is a pretty big restriction. Two 3" pipes to one 4" is the flow master merge that everyone talks about and uses on here.

I have the pacesetter ORY with a modified loudmouth. I have a 16" glasspack in place of the resonator. It sounds nice except for at 2200-2500 it has the horrible dualed out chevy truck rap. Im thinking of installing the flowmaster merge too, but my question is, is there a 3" ORY out there? I think my pacesetter is 2 3/4"

Ditch the truck muffler, and it won't sound like a truck.

It should be a 3" ory. But really put a descent muffler on there, like a magnaflow or borla, and it will not sound like a truck anymore...
