What is this part?

Hey guys, I'm working on doing some weight reduction today and I ran into a part that i can't identify.

It's located in the front of the engine compartment. It's bolted directly to the pass. side frame rail right next to the bumper support mount (bottom of frame rail). It's made of black plastic, semi cylindrical in shape, about 6 in. long. Also has 1 what appears to be a vacum line going to it.

Sounds like a vacuum resevior. Holds vacuum so when the engine is off, or @ low vacuum, all your heater settings don't re-set to "off" etc.
