Is the SLP LS6 Manifold worth the money? What about the Lingenfelter?

After a few more mods, the LS6 intake should be on your list. Other stuff should come first like headers, maybe cam... Its a good mod but they cost/hp ratio isn't too great. Better gains when you have more mods. The Lingenfelter manifold is okay, but has an issue with heat soak. Not many people have one. The FAST LSX intake is a very nice piece also, but a bit pricey.

The LS6 intake is definately worth it once you get H/C, or even just on a cammed car. As for the Holley intake i don't think anyone has seen any more power over it than just the regular LS6. The main reason i would say to go with the holley intake is if you wanted the polished intake for the bling factor. I'm interested like everyone else to see if the LSX intake lives up to the hype.

the slp ls6 intake is only worth it if you want to keep your egr setup, if not just pick up a used ls6 intake or get a new one for about 400.

Can't you get a used LS6 manifold off a 01-02 F-body that has the EGR provision?

01-02's dont have the egr systems.
