I just installed an SLP dual/dual with a custom 3" ORY and I would definitely consider this a sleeper exhaust setup. It is nowhere near as loud as when I ran the y-pipe with cats and a 4" Mufflex.

Another newb question. Some people say they have SLP d/d, and 3" ORY. The 3" ORY is an aftermarket piece correct? What comes from the factory on a hawk? Shoot while i'm at it, what is an ORY, i think it stands for off road Y pipe, but why is it offroad pipe, and not an Onroad pipe? Sorry so many stupid questions.
Yep the ultimate sleeper exhaust has to be the stock muffler, it can quieten down even the most ground pounding engines. Combine that with a cutout that you can open after you've lured someone into thinking the car is a V-6 and it's about as stealth as it gets.

I keep reading about cutouts. I like the idea or electric cutouts too.
Questions though. Do they tend to leak at all?, do they actually make power? (and not cause flow probs open or closed?) ,are they legal when closed and a good seal exists. ( I doubt they are legal in any form here in Australia but curious about state laws there) , and can they be fitted easily to any car and be reasonably inconspicuous on 1st inspection?
hehehe...I suppose more than anything I like the idea of switching on a crackly open exhaust at will and switch it off again without any effort.

i got the edelbrock setup. the tips dump right before the bumper on the highway it sounds stock and when you get on it, it screams. it looks like a v6 exhaust, the 200hp dual turn down style
