Default new exhaust installed

and it is the BEST sounding exhaust ive ever heard. i know you heard me say i wish my car sounded like a mustang with dumps, uh uh, not anymore. after four catbacks i finally got the sound i want and it is badass

louder than before at idle, in fact idle is pretty damn loud, but it is quiter than before at 1300 and up, even wide open. no rasp at all, very smooth sounding. makes the cam sound much more prevelant. i love it

heres some pics

cut the ball flanges off the macs

new drivers side collector (from the angle i took the pic it looks bent, but it is a straight shot)

new pass side collector (see above about bent and straight)

cutouts mounted

drivers side y

pass side y

finished ypipe

mouting muffler

ground clearance

ground clearance is about .5" less cause of the cutouts, but it all tucks up very nicely and there is plenty of room

ive very satisfied

sound clips later

I just rode in Tally's car.
It sounds awesome. Very deep tone to it, no rasp and quiet at idle.
Very nice.The best Y-pipe setup I've heard.

We then went for a ride in my car, and of course, when you want to show things off, things don't work right. My car was popping, backfiring, hesitating like crazy (it always runs sweet). Oh well.

old setup was a dynomouth setup

shop charged 250 for install, i supplied parts. i thought it was a little steep until i saw all the work that went into getting the ypipe fabbed and fit right, the header collectors were a pain to

well worth it now that is done

Looks good.

Ground clearance looks similar to my x pipe setup. I have two mufflers about that size in pretty much that spot on either side.
