Default Pacesetter header bolts?

Should i use the bolts they sent me for the headers? Dont remember what brand of headers they were but some people said not to use those because they suck? So, how about the pacestter ones?

Have you had to tighten them or anything? Did you use the pacesetter gaskets as well?

I did the samething.. On your pacesetters, what bolts did you use for the EGR and the other 2 hoses that bolt onto the headers? Because on the stock ones they just bolt in because the stock ones are threaded. But, on the LT's its just a freakin hole so you cant reuse the stock bolts the just slide in. What did you do? Go to the hardware store and buy nuts and bolts?

That sucks.. They could have at least threaded and made the holes the same size!!! Well, i got both headers installed and tightened down. Was going to put the plugs in but i dont have a plug gapper. Is that real important?

If you have NGK plugs they should be pre gapped so you shouldn't have to worry. I checked mine all before hand and they were all correct except one or two were off by a little bit.

My NGK's were around .062. Definetly check them before you install them.

I am going to use the Stage 8 locking header bolts. Ive been told they are the best to keep from loosening.

Kinda pissed.. Got everything on, i mean everything except for the EGR & the air hook up on the passenger side header.. Well, **** wasnt lineing up..So, I Call TSP (where i bought them from) and told them the scenerio and they said its the wrong header.. YEA, i was pissed.. They are talking with pacesetter to see if there is some kind of alternative besides taking that header all the way back off and the ORY-Pipe... Hell, im gonna try to get a TC out of tsp for all the bull **** i have to go thrue now and it was their screw up!! If it would have been at a shop they would have charged me double!! Right?
