Exclamation Ls1 block to bellhousing cover

Please excuse mebif this is not posted in the appropriate area. I felt as though this belonged here because it has to do with an external part of the ls1 engine moreso than it does any transmission based topic.

With that being said, I am looking for the correct terminology for the cover on the left aide of an ls1 engine that fills the void between the block and the bellhousing of the transmission.

I have a huge void on the left side (mirror to where the starter is) that opens up road debri, squirrels and worst of all water to my flywheel and clutch assembly.

After searching for a few hours I have come up with nothing. If I can't find anything I will resort to fbricating my own cover.

Thanks.

Dust cover?? I'd go to a Chevy dealer and ask the parts department, probably not too expensive.

I bought mine at a GM dealer, about $10.

Good info, I am missing these on my motor too. The first time I mated up my T56 to LQ4 with the Camaro pan on there I was like......."ummmmmmmmm"
