So I was reading in another thread about taking the baffles off (for new air lid) and am under the impression that driving in the rain without baffles is not good for your car. So are baffles basically little air chambers with with filters or something? I know they basically restrict air flow but I've never taken one apart. Thanks

Baffels are in the ws6 ram air hood. I have had mine out for about 2 years (DD) and never had any problems with the rain.

I thought these were the baffles (the four rectangles after the air lid)
