Jet Chip, Jet performance module question. Use it???

Jet Chip, Jet performance module question. Use it??? My brother's 2000 WS6 6 speed came with a Jet Performance Module that is still in the box in the back seat. The seller said it is missing a bolt or something needed for installation. Is it worth messing with? I saw it advertised that it will pick the car up around 20 rwhp. Any thoughts?

it will not pick the car up 20hp. maybe a couple if u'r lucky. i would get a real dyno tune if u have a chance.
but with that said, that chip is better than nothing. and u will notice a slight difference in throttle response and take-off characteristics. these will be MINIMAL effects though
these chips have been known to cause some ls1's to knock, if u have a negative effect with the chip, take it out
