Default How hard too install.......

A new pcv valve? Any ideas? Can this make the SES light come on?

pretty easy man...look up the pcv system on LS1's should find a decent diagram. should be located on the passenger valve cover.

i doubt it will throw a code.

Easy to change. SES is possible. What is the ses code?

it is very simple. wouldnt take me 2 minutes.
i've had it go bad before and it never caused an engine light.
there is a hose coming from the throttle body on the passenger side, that runs to the valve cover. if u look more towards the throttle cable arm it is a silver cylinder in the hose. all u do is pull it out, put new one in



that is a picture of pcv valve. that hose is from the valve cover, the open side is to throttle body

What's in the Valve Cover..?
My 5.3l in my Truck has the PCV in the Valve Cover..I've never seen the stock setup of an LS1 car, that's why I ask.

Not sure what the code is yet. I will have to get a code reader and let ya know. I had problems with my egr about a year or so ago, and was reading up on a few parts that need to be replaced. She has 144xxx miles so i figured it could be the pcv or o2 sensor.
