Can I use Evap port for PCV?
1 - I don't have the nipple on the trottle body because it is off the truck - so can I run a line from the tube on the passenger valve cover to the nipple on the intake behind the trottle body on the passenger side?
2 - Can I run the truck PCV valve in the stock hole at rear of driver side valve cover and run a line to the nipple on the the driver side intake behind TB - it is the evap port which i am not using for evap?
Thanks for you help.
The passenger valve cover front port should connect to a metered air source - meaning somewhere between the MAF and the TB. So it is usually connected to the port on the top/side of the TB, there is no vacuum there.
The drivers side valve cover rear port should have a vacuum hose running up to port #3 on the intake, with a PCV valve installed right before the manifold. It's also a good idea to run a catch can on this side as well.
