That's what a race version of the header would be.
I have pacesetters that I got for dirt cheap on my car, they went on real smooth.
Just make sure for your install, you have the car as high off the ground as you can get it... Makes getting the headers in so much easier.

I would rather have hookers just b/c everyone and their mom has pacesetters.

The coating on the hookers it a lot better and they come with nice gaskets and plug and play 02 extensions where as the pacesetters only send you wire to splice in (a joke).

Plus Hooker has been around for a loooooooong time.

I'm about to go take off my duals and mac headers now. Any pointers? I've never done any set of headers lol. i figured I could get the macs off pretty easy by myself after the duals come out. They just unbolt from the headers and I can unhook where they hang.

Yea if theres already headers on it man your way ahead of the game.

Just unbolt/unhook the duals, if theres a pipe that goes from the header to the dual unbolt that, and then unhook the 02 sensor from the car and remove the header bolts and they should come right out.

Before going after the headers, remove the coil packs to get some extra space up top.

It may be a little bit of a PITA w/ regular jackstands... It's way nicer to have the car about 2ft off the ground... Just makes everything smoother with more room to work with.

I read that you were talking about wraping your headers. Do NOT wrap mild steel headers it will cause them to rust worse than they already will. Also do not wrap coated headers cause it will cause it to chip and rust. I don't care what enyone says header wrap locks in moister for long periods of time. So your headers that will only take 10 mins to dry out will now take 2 days because of the material of header wrap. The longer you have moister on mild steel the worse it will rust. No matter what you do or where you live mild steel headers coated or not will eventually rust and look like **** unless you don't drive it much. Mild steel rusts so easy it can rust just from the moister in the air. I just didn't want ya to **** up your new headers. Only wrap stainless headers and don't even do that on a daily driver.

Personally, I would only wrap my headers if I had an STS kit, but that's a whole different story.

I usually jack the car up as high as the jack will go then let it down on jack stands. Then move the jack and put down 2 3" blocks to put the jack on then go up some more. If I remember right it was three more teeth on my jack stands (their the HD craftsman) and that's plenty high to get them in. I did mine like this and just finished putting on a set the other day and did the same thing. I also put the rear up on ramps. No need to, but it does help out moving around under there so your not scraping your nuts or belly on anything.

Did you look into the TSP 1 7/8 headers? Best bang for buck IMO
