How many A/C compressor bolts?
How many A/C compressor bolts? I'm doing a much needed motor mount transplant and have the drivers side done but can't seem to find all the bolts for the a/c compressor to do the right side. I got 2 off of the bottom but how many others are there? And does the bracket come off with the compressor or seprately?
I believe there are four bolts that hold the compressor to the bracket.
The two on the bottom are longer than the two on the top.
The top ones are kind of a bitch to get to. I'm pretty sure I got to mine from up above, in the engine bay. I used a ratching box-end wrench (I think).
The compressor should be unbolted from the bracket and then there are four more bolts holding the bracket to the block that need to be removed in order to remove the bracket.
