Default Valve cover breather

I was looking at parts and I came across this part and I don't understand what it actually does, I have been searching and I was just wondering if this would be helpful to put on my car, and also where exactly it mounts. Sorry if im being a little dumb here Im just a little confused

A metco breather is still beneficial even when you do run a PCV system. It vents crankcase pressure which is a good thing.

okay thank you for clearing it all up for me, the only reason I was interested in it was because I hear that it can help your engine run a little better and what not, and they arnt expensive.

They vent crank case pressure which can lower oil consumption which is a common problem. We sell the Metcos on our web site
