True Duals with different mufflers?

True Duals with different mufflers? As I was browsing through sound clips I couldn't help but wonder what a Borla XR-1 on one side and a Magnaflow bullet style muffler on the other would sound like. Has anyone run different mufflers?

You ever been crusing down the road (low rpm) and have a car pass you with a different exhaust but the pitch of both notes is hovering at about the same frequency and makes you want to rip your face off because your eardrums are about to explode? Thats probably what it will sound like all the time. Magnaflow FTW in my opinion...
That's a whole different situation. That sound that makes you want to rip your face off is because the two systems are at slightly different rpm, and when their tones combine, it creates a very unpleasant oscillation.
With 2 mufflers on the same motor, the two will always be at the exact rpm, therefore their tones will always be in phase sonically.
Your example is the equivalent of having 2 identical audio sources, but changing the pitch on one... nasty results. My example is the equivalent of having 2 identical audio sources, but just changing the graphic EQ on them. Big, big difference.
