Default Backfire when trying to start

Whats up guys. I have a 02 6spd TA with a lid and a slp loudmouth exhaust. It backfires when i shift into the next gear at about 2300 rpm or sometimes a little bit lower. and just the other day it backfired on me during lunch. i turned the key and it backfired two times, sounded like a shotgun then after it poped the two times it just died and then i tried to start it again and it started like normal. this isnt an everyday thing though. it just like every other day. Thanks for your help

Default

you need a tune, probly should check spark plugs too. also when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

but a good tuner should be able to pin point the issue for sure.
