ive been told a cam is the best bang for the buck. Ive also been told that stock ls1 heads flow pretty well. My real question here is what cam to get for what i've got. I'm still looking to drive the car daily so i'm not looking for a huge thumper. ive dyno'd at around 365,so i figure a cam should put me over 4 if i'm lucky. Also what should i replace when i put this cam in?
Depending on your miles you may need to do more.
There is a lot to choose from when it comes to cam. Knowing what your goals are with the car: Street warrior, track monster, dd, street/track, road course and any combo in between.
Id hit up Patrick or PredatorZ...

Im kinda bias but my el torro cam rapes all worlds.
eventually you will want to get a decent set of heads. maybe do what i am doing and grab a set of used 799 or 243 heads and have them worked a little.
if you keep an eye on this section in a few weeks when i get my new set up together and dyno'd it will give you a good idea of where to go with your cam selection.
