A/C problem has me stumped...

The system has a leak and you did not mention the high side readings. You need both readings to diagnose a low charge. Your system is definately low. Charge it untill your low side hoses get cold to the touch. Other than that. If you are not versed in AC dont mess with it. Also not to be critical i will make my point by stating the poster that said it was VAPOR LOCKED prooves my point. Stay away from AC systems if you are not trained. Also you nead a license to service AC systems and special equiptment must be on SITE. Do not mess with the AC if you are not properly trained in it. Sorry for the bluntness of my comment. But i see so many messed up systems its not funny. And NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER jump a preasure switch on an AC system. That is plain and simple WRONG. I am an ASE certified AC system licensed HVAC repairer.
