Which ls6 intake to use?
im sure exactly but i think all the ls6 intakes are pretty much the same therefor they should see the came gain as any other ls6 intake.
oh btw just for future refrence intake goes in external
@predator if u dont mind me asking what vehicle did your intake come from?
1. Need to pick up a SLP LS6 intake w/egr provision
2. Remove EGR, get tuned out, block of exhaust manifold and purchase any LS6 intake without EGR of course.
You will also either have to cut the ribs underneath the manifold for your LS1 coolant lines to work or pick up LS6 lines
...oh and I'm sure this will get moved to External

To the OP, you can usually find a used LS6 in the classifieds from $250-$300. The LS6 coolant lines are optional, but I've said my piece on that.

I read in multiple threads that not using the ls1 coolant lines can cause the #7 cylinder to run hotter, and therefore possibly detonate. I think doing it the right way is leaving the ls1 coolant lines in place... im not about to chance it over some stupid fins on the ls6 intake.
