what heads, cam and intake should be used on a lq9 to make the most hp

I am no expert by anymeans but it really depends on budget, if you are looking for inexpensive L92 seem to do pretty well from what i have read, and then you can run ls3 intake.

ok ive just swap a stock lq9 in to a 78 chev pick up and i would like to get more hp. ive did a lot of reading on ls motors that why there a lq9 in my truck. i just dont know what would be the best combo ls3 heads and intake thats where i need the help

I have an LQ9. I went with the best combo I can find. Lingenfelter CNC LS3 heads, FAST LSXR 102mm intake, and a short duration/high lift agressive, yet mild Comp Cam.

It can be cable or drive by wire, it depends on what throttle body you bolt on to it.

I have a 90mm DBW on mine for now, I may pick up a 102mm some day.

like keep cost down. all ready have 6g in to the swap now , but i know hp is not chep. 4-5 g more

i realy dont know. read more on the ls3 and that the way i want to go now i must decid to go stock or cnc
