1st is the best for me... t56... it might be due to the fact that i put some new tires on too when i did my bolt ons so it significantly increased the use of 1st

All depends on traction really, if you can hook in first of course it's going to feel faster.

Second and Third are a close tie for me. I Voted third. 65 rolls on the HW in third gear at 4k rpm will snap ya alright! Had a good couple pulls this weekend in second though. Was TRYING to feel how it pressed me into the seat at a 3500rpm stab in second shifting to third and pulling to 6500.

BUILT T56 with NT05's also..

I'm guessing you're talking about the car in your sig? There's a hell of a difference between a H/C car and a bolt-on car. I'm sure you don't get any traction in 1st, but in my little bolt-on car with the suspension setup right and some sticky tires, 1st gear pulls like crazy (especially with 4.11's)

On my a4 3.23s .. I feel 2nd pull more.. maybe because I have a big delay once going from 2-3rd.. once in 3rd i don't feel it as much as 1st or 2nd. I think i need a converter and a built trans

1-2 feels extremely short.. people ask me if have 3.73s

Yeah, I just noticed that.. my bad guys.. I think I forgot what thread I was in. Disregard.

When I was all bolt-ons though, I think third still felt fast, but second may have been the better gear. And yeah, I get traction in first. NT05s! And the roads here in CT are pretty clean from all the rain and salt during the winter.. No real oil buildup.

True, but big IF for most of us lol (especially on the street).

On a side note...get MT DR's, I made the mistake of trying to save some money and got BFG's.

Edit: That felt like an infomercial...
