help! wierd azz 02 sensor question

help! wierd azz 02 sensor question hey guys i just came back from my local private parts store to get a price for the 2 new 02's i need and they say that they are different from left to right.
i need 2 new upstream 02's and they pulled the parts off the shelf and the 2 look compleatly different one looked like my 2 02's i have now which are both oem ac delco parts and those look identical but the part # is one series up from each other but the only change i see is that one has a few inch's longer harness and the plug is the same along with the wire colors.
the second one they showed me was a lot smaller body and the tip of the sensor was also a lot smaller but the 4 pin plug was the same and they also said theat one of the front 02's was the same as both rear 02's(which i dont have i got lt's and ory)the pic shows my oem sensor's and one of the ones they showed me look like the pic.
so whats the deal?
