Default Rich or lean without cats?

I tried searching but did not come up with exactly what I was looking for. I was wondering, if I take my cats off, will it run rich or lean? I have already had the cats deleted with an LS1 edit tune. My tuner said he leaned it out a bit with the cats still on. Mods are in sig. My catback is a bullet muffler with mostly 3 inch pipe except the over the axle part is stock(need new catback)
and plan on getting one when the cats are gone.

I don't want to have to get a retune. I guess I could borrow a scanmaster to be sure as i don't have a tool such as a scanmaster or autotap.

Sorry for what seems to be a newbie question.

Thanks for your time guys

When I removed my cats it didn't change the fuel mixture.
