Another CUTOUT question...

Sorry, I tried a search, but had no luck.

I have LT's/ catted Y and Magnaflow muffler. Where would be the best place to install it?

In the intermediate pipe between the Y-pipe and the rear axle. There's a perfect little niche for it.

Would it be worth it to get two cutouts? One after each cat right before the "Y" meets with the "I" pipe?, or would that route be a waste of money/power?

One in the I pipe works very well. I gained 20hp thru open cutout on my cammed setup when I had a cutout.

Some people put two up in the Y-pipe. It works fine also like that also.

I tend to think that if a you have a good merge collector design at the Y, there's some scavenging effect, and a single cutout in the "I" will make use of that.
