Heard the hooker aerochamber catback on several cars. Quiet at idle. Very deep and mellow at higher rpm's. No rasp at all.

I will be installing mine with my setup below. Hopefully be the sound that I'm looking for

Gmmg. I'll be swapping out my flowmaster catback for one soon. I had a gmmg on my lt1 car I sold and I can't wait to get another one. They're expensive but you get what you pay for.

My hooker exhaust rusted out on the inside in 5 years, it sounded pretty good but what about using the loudmouth system you have and adding a 30" chambered resonator/muffler in there between the Y and axle. I think the resonator is only about $125-150 and same one used on the gmmg.

Borla and SLP Loudmouth are the meanest sounding in my opinion, of course other will disagree. It's your personal preference.

Ive had SLP LM 1 And 2 they are just a little too raspy, ive never tried borla, personally I love my magnaflow, but I wanted to try something different.

I wouldnt think mine would because I never drive it in rain, or even if the roads are wet, and it is kept in a garage.

My buddy has a Hooker set-up with LTs and I think it sounds great for the price, very deep and throaty. I just installed a 2 OTL in switch of my Magnaflow and am not looking back. I hear ya on switching up the exhaust, Borla is nice to but costs some cha ching.
