not sure what to tell you. Is there some some type of conversion to get another value for that 7.50?? because the resistance of the keys listed are all in the thousands, so that 7.50 is way off.

on a side note. my issue re-emerged today when i was leaving school. went to start it up...died. i had already rolled the windows down while all of that was still working, so once it died i was parked in the middle of the lot, windows open, and no tools to try anything.

had to leave the car for a minute to go run to the on campus public safety, and luckily the lady had a little tool set. i just removed the battery terminals like last time and after hooking it back up, it fired right up.

so i still have no clue what the issue is , either something with VATS, or with the terminals... but, at least its running again

Your battery may have an internal broken connection...

Or your battery cables(s) may have internal breakage/corrosion.

Well I bought 2 resitors that add up to 7.2, so I guess I've got to try it.
