Help! Is this normal??

OK, so I recently did these mods - Jet hot LT's, ORY, Magnaflow catback. Today, I installed an LS6 intake manifold and finished the delete of my egr. The car was fine after the exhaust install. Now, after new intake and egr delete it's running a little funny and after it runs for awhile the SES starts flashing. I'm getting a dynotune tomorrow. Do I need to get something checked out first or is that typical with all these mods and no tune? Let me know! THANKS!

PS I used fel-pro crush gaskets and chiseled the certain fins on the intake.

Have you checked all the spark plug wires to see if one came loose?

PLugs and wires are fine. I'm thinking maybe I just didn't give it enough to warm up. Seems to be ok...right now. Smells pretty gassy but it is idling good at the moment.

That sounds like a vacuum leak. Are you sure the intake is seated fully on the heads? You may need to chisel the fins and beat the coolant tube down against the valley cover. Did you take the plastic clips off of the knock sensor harness?

Idk what you're talking about with the plastic clips. I did already chisel the fins.

The plastic clips hold the knock sensor harness on the coolant vent tube. You can see what I'm talking about in this picture http://www.ls1howto.com/howto/geniii...//IMAGE010.jpg

Thanks. I drove it late last nite for 15 minutes and it is running great. No idle issues, no flashing ses. I guess I will go ahead and get it dyontuned today because it seems to have resolved itself. My hands look liked I've been attacked by a racoon. Freakin cowl.
