Default help asap

Ok need help asap! the car is in the way... car ran just fine we put headers and a ls6 intake on it and now we go to start it and it wont idel... unplug the maf and it will run just fine, just idels down slow... we put a different maf on same problem... i dot know what else it could be. the codes on it are all dealing with the maf... Thanks

Check your ENG SEN fuse.

could also be a vaccuum leak, make sure that you have two hoses connected at the back of the manifold, a large one and a small one.

Double check all the connectors/hoses... you probably didnt plug something in.

the small hose in the back is pluged in and the big one is the one that goes to the brake booster right? the sensor in the back of the intake is pluged in... what else should i look for? its not a fuse cuz the car run and starts just dies when u plug in the maf...

check your O2's, are they plugged in? and are you not using rear O2's and possibly plugged your fronts into the Rear's?

I'm not saying this is your problem, but the car will still run (like ****) with the ENG SEN fuse burnt. It supplies 12v to the MAF and the O2 heaters.

car is fixed now...our auto mechanics instructor put his hand over the tb and let it bogg down...let go.. put the maf back on and plugged it in and it worked so we dont know what happend...thanks for the advise though guys
