alternator help i have swaped a 5.3 into my s10 and had a truck alt on it and it had only one wire used in the plug in. (well i left the key on for three days like a dumb *** not remembering to shut it off) and it burned it up (the reg) so i had another truck alt here but it cam off a 2002 5.3 and it had two wires on the plug,and i used my set up and it does not charge! (is there a way to make it charge) it is a carb 5.3 NOT EFI
