Default OBX Header Gaskets

I just got my obx headers in today and I seen some people say to use different gaskets. Did the people that didnt use them just not have any luck with the ones that came from OBX or just wanted something else?

Can someone give me a part number on a set for the OBX header like from FelPro or whatever brand Oreilly or some part store would carry?

Thanks

I had OBX headers in my grand prix. I didnt use the gaskets it came with, they looked pretty cheap. I'm sure that any local auto parts store can get you better quality gaskets. Check out the vendors also.

On a side note, that was a while back. How do the gaskets look?

I ended up using them, they were a 2 gasket style which I wasnt crazy about but they seem to work. Hopefully they hang in there forever lol!

Just go down to checker or autozone and they will have the felpro ones you need. They stock them. You will probably have a leak sooner or later with the ones that came with the headers unless they are metal in construction. If they are paper type they won't last but a couple months. Found that out the hard way.

The GM MLS are the way to go FOR SURE!!! If they are not damaged when you pull the manis off you can reuse them. If you need a new set they are less than $20 at the stealership IIRC. I bought a new set when my first set of heads went on in 08 then RPM just reused them last month with my new heads.....
