POST ls6 intake install questions Installed my ls6 intake, car pulls hard and it was really really really hot at the track, car ran a 13.2 and the sixty foot was its normal time of 2.00. So i can tell its helping, the DA was horrible though.
Anyway. Did anyone noticed a extreme air sucking sound ever since they installed the intake. it almost sounds like the old TBI engine when cold. Its not annoying and its running much smoother than before. It just makes me paranoid of a leak.

Neither, only when you apply gas, it has increase the sound of the lid(the sound you notice after a CAI install) by like 45 percent.
Car runs excellent. All new gaskets and foam pieces were installed. Intake set down flat and very well when installed.
I guess im just overparanoid
Yes. All of the fins were removed carefully, and cleaned up and smoothed everything out.
Air pump has been in the garage corner for over... 3 years i think?
