Replacement muffler on Magnaflow Catback??

Replacement muffler on Magnaflow Catback?? I have a full magnaflow catback....but want a new sound.....well..when i dont have my cut out open. Want something louder than the magnaflow muffler. Can i just swap mufflers or will some not fit a magnaflow catback....
ie get a corsa/borla etc....to replace my magnaflow one

has anyone rigged a muffler with different inlet/outlet diameter to fit?
someone posted they used this muffler, but they didn't say how difficult it was.

get some American racing headers and there ORY and put a stainless magnaflow bullet in the i pipe...mine sounds awesome that way i really need to get a sound clip
btw dont use a 2.5 inlet muffer...

i heard without cats magnaflow gets kinda raspy so is the bullet to get rid of or tone down this? im def getting american racing headers by the end of this summer im just not sure if i want to go with cats or not... if cats then def getting an electric cut out..
