I need some advice
I need some advice I am going to look at a used ls6 intake manifold tomorrow and I am wondering what I should be looking for in flaws with the piece. He claims it only has 50,000 mi on it. The guy got it from his friends 02 ss and said he had to grind the fins off of it to fit his 99 z28 but he never put it on his car. Is that normal? Are there any other things I should be looking for to see if its still a good piece or not?

yes thats normal, look at all the bolt holes and the fitting on the back side, i mean just use common sense, if it looks like it's been tampered with too much then find another one. they are a dime a dozen in the classified section.
