Default Ls6 intake, ported?

Anyone seen any gains by porting the LS6 intake?

Home porting or professional porting? Unless you yourself plans on doing it or it's already done it's not worth the cost. Although I'm sure gains would be minimal.

I would send it off to someone that has done it before. Looking for a few extra ponies for less than a new Fast, would be nice to find an old 78mm Fast.

I don't think there is much material to remove, and the intake should match up pretty good to gm heads.P&P the TB ,ls6 intakes will handle 450 hp .

Hard material to work w/. Some vendors sell them ported but none claim any gains from it.

There are gains to be had with port matching the intake ports on the manifolds to the heads. Especially on ported castings, there's a TON of overhang inside the head port. You can take 2mm or so out of each port on the manifold, and there is small gains to be had.
