MSD 6-BTM on LS1 system (LT1 engine)?
MSD 6-BTM on LS1 system (LT1 engine)? All-
I have an MSD 6 BTM ignition that was given to me when I bought some other stuff, and am planning on using it in my build. This doesn't exactly belong in here, but it doesn't exactly belong in the LT1 forum either.
I'm about to start installing a 383 LT1 into my '97, has a Procharger F1A.
It has the EFI Connection kit (converts to LS1 computer, ignition, full LS harness, etc.). What I'd like to know is:
1) Can I even use the 6-BTM with the LS1 setup? If so, can anyone provide any wiring diagrams? (I couldn't find anything on MSD's website).
2) If I can't use it on my setup, what are you LSX guys using for ignitions for boost? (The 6-BTM has a remote dial for ignition retard under boost).
