Default Please HELP!!!

My car (the one in my sig) has been running great and has nothing wrong aside from a tiny power steering leak but today on my way into work it started running really rough and was kinda "puttering" and the check gauges light was quickly flashing almost in sync with the sound of the engine and the puttering

it has done this two other times now after the first time i noticed it, both times doing it from start up till i turn it off with an occasional second of normal-ness lol

anyone have any idea what the problem may be? my guess is coil pack/spark plug but that's pretty much just a guess... any quick help would be greatly appreciated!

Iv heard of cases that the engine light will blink like that if theres a misfire. You were driving when the car started doing this or was the car doing this when you first started it up?

well i didnt notice for like 3 minutes but it could have been doing it the whole time right after i started it up. the next two times i started it it did it the whole give or a take a second or two where it seemed normal and went right back to crap again...

the car only has like 70k on it if that helps at all...

Yea most likely a misfire, and if the MIL light came on then there will be a DTC set in the system. Sounds like a dead misfire, probably something ignition.

Gotta find the cause before the remedy. If you were not sure if the car was doing that when you started it the car cant be running all that bad huh? It could be a few things but without a obd code we cant tell you a whole lot.
