Default Bored Ls1, what heads.......

If you have a bored LS1 to 3.905/.908, class rules state that you must run the factory LS1/LS6 Manifold and TB, what head would you go with? On paper the compression ratio is right around 11.5 to 1. Dedpending on the CC of the heads.

PRC heads have turned me away, reason is I have seen to two different set of heads that leak in the number 7 cylinder.

Patriot heads I like, I had a old set, before they started with the 243 heads.

Need some more opinons on heads from my set up.\

OR could I get away with running a LS3 style head on the bored motor?

Thanks

ls3 valves are too big for a ls1 bore.

good luck have you talked with a sponsor/reputable engine builder about this at all? they do this stuff for a living and it'd be best to hear from them about it before you start on something that might not work, for some reason i'm thinkin in the back of my head LS3/L92 heads won't work on a LS1 block at all.

personally i sent a set of 243's to west coast racing cylinder heads and from lookin at flow numbers they flow better than the trick flow 220 heads
