What MAF To Get ?
I'll try to get as detailed here as I can and if there is anything else just ask away. I'm building my stock bottom end 346 with full bolton's which will include the following: AI ported 243's, along with a pretty aggressive cam, (not my dd), 36# injectors, Racetronics fuel pump, FAST ported 102, NW 102 TB, FAST Toys 98mm lid, chrs 1313 non a/c ram air.
Just need to know what MAF to use because I don't think I want to stay with the 78mm stock unit and chock up what I'm working towards here. Was thinking either the ZO6: http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1903 or the truck one. If we decide I should use the truck one I need to know where the place place is to get it and what the mm is ? Is there anything else that will be needed when we decide the right MAF for me ? Thanks for your time and help guys. This will be my next purchase so I really need some guidance here with such a sensitive piece like this.

I'd be wary of the cheap ebay ones. I heard of lots of bad MAFs going around. It's a fairly important item IMO and you don't want it failing and screwing up your A/F.
OP, why not get the 104mm lid from FTP?
As for the MAF, if I end up running one, I will consider the LPP 100mm or the TSP one or the one linked earlier in this thread. That FTP 104mm lid is supposed to fit perfectly over it.

The first MAF in you first post is not the zo6 meter......it is a ported stock meter only about 80mm big.
If you can just get the truck style/slp/real zo6 meter, they are 85mm. Or if you have the money get the newer 100mm MAF, but I think it takes more time to tune them properly.

i have an slp 85mm maf and have had it for a couple years and have no issues with it and even bought used, and just recently de-screened it. i was reading through that thread about newbie mistakes was kinda curious about somethings and alot of ppl were talking trach about the slp maf's and granatelli maf's, that they throw off a/f ratios, and hard to tune and this and that. well i can say that i swaped my k & N fipk II intake system, 85mm maf, 85mm pro products throttle body over to now mine 01 ws6 cam only and have had no issues with it and the car runs just fine even with the tune with the stock 78mm ported throttle body, 78mm maf and lid. so im curious as to what problems ppl have actually had with it.
