PCV valve housing

The pcv valve housing on my car got ripped almost in half and it would not fit back on the line coming from the drivers side valve cover. This is on a 1998 model so the pcv valve is right in the middle of the motor on the passenger side.

I found this site here link. Now i moved the pcv valve housing right beside the oil fill cap and ran another hose from the housing to the side of the intake.

Is this ok or will it mess something up, since I moved the pcv from the stock location. Car runs fine but it seems so sluggish since I have done this.

Thanks LS-1Z28, im still not sure if it is okay that I moved the pcv valve from its stock location. It is located where the 2000-2002 pcv valve is located.

as long as the pcv valve is before the intake connection you are good.
