QTP cutout switch questions?

QTP cutout switch questions? QTP sent me a switch already wired up, yet it blows the fuse everytime I try it, even with the motor unhooked. I searched here and found wiring diagrams and they show a 8 pin switch and mine is a 6 pin. I might need to go buy another switch, can someone clear this up, QTP seems to close when I need to call.
What fuse is it blowing? If you are hooking it up to an existing circuit it could be too much draw for that circuit, even just powering up the switch. I bought this

Thats a real nice peice. I went striaght to the fuse box with the power wire to the ignition source. The 12 ft wire came to me shorted out. They are sending me one, no big deal. Why I checked it last Ill never know.
