Default Koolsox - Prevent Melting Plug Wires?

What do you guys think of these? At least one of my taylor wires has melted so far since I've installed my headers.

Thumbs up

I use DEI plug wire covers, work great too. DEI makes some killer heat related stuff.

Hey, what about aluminum foil? I'm guessing it will probably melt. Another idea I had was to cut some of that fire proofing (if thats what it is?) off the fuel line on the passenger side and put that between the header and the wire. I only have 1 touching. I guess I should quit being cheap and get the sock.

If you pick up these sleeves get the ones that dont have the metal ring at the end pain the butt to get the wire thru. They sell, them without the ring makes installing them 10 times easier.
