quieter muffler on loud mouth So I sold my camaro and bought a m6 ta and it cmae with a loudmouth exhaust don't. Know if its a lm1 or 2 but it seems its a welded in resonator.. it is way too loud since I have added long tubes and texas speed 3" ory. What options do I have to replace the resonator what's the quietest muffler that will fit without losing any power.. I read on here that the sweet thunders choke it down inside cuz of smaller inside diameter.. I thought of a magnaflow but will it fit? And a borla arnt they really. Loud? This is a daily driver and would like it quiet and no drone. Been pulled over twice already lol any sound clips of people that already swapped there slp resonator??

i have long tubes and off road 3" y pipe this car is way louder than urs i like the sound its just when it starts that annoying rasp it sounds like a honda fart can! my z28 i had stock and got rid of the muffler completly just straight tips! no where near as loud as a full open exhaust car

Ok u can have it when when I take it off.. well I saw some pics of the resonator so its basically a empty can so anything i put in place I believe will bring the rasp and noise down enough to make me happy. I will take before and after video with my droid phone.. my friend owns a junk yard and gave me what appears to be a lm2 off a lt1 bird but wasn't planning on using it because the center bottles down smaller but I guess it should be ok and better than a 3" dynomax for controlling rasp.
I have a LM1 on as well with LTs and ORY. I am not tired of the sound, really like it, but decided to try the powerflo conversion. Not trying to hijack, but if ya want I can toss of a vid of the difference if ya want to know how it will sound when I finally get them and install them.

Yes I put on.a used lm2 and it made a little difference but the rasp is still there, a little better didn't satisfy me though. Yes please. Put a clip of the powerflow I will put one of the lm2 when I get a chance

i would try to add a 4x9 magnaflow or borla to that i pipe also and see how that does, or you can also add a bullet coming off each header before it y's together.
