Flanges/Clamps for Header Collectors?
Flanges/Clamps for Header Collectors? My headers with 3" header collectors came bare. I'm wondering how you guys attach the rest of your exhaust system to your headers.
I will build the rest of the exhaust suit my needs, so I don't already have a certain type of exhaust attachment I'm limited to.
My question is what's the best thing to use?
Ball/Socket?
3 point "classic" type with crush gasket?
Band clamp?
V-Clamp?
I don't want something that I will have to tighten every week, but I hope I don't have to spend $100 + for stainless ball/sockets for each side and then pay to have them welded on etc
Just curious what you guys are using?
I see a lot of undercar pictures using simple clamps like these.... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-33222/
Do these actually work!? Sure would be convenient.....
