Well they're not installed yet, but I didn't think they looked that great. Then again I'm not an expert on exhaust or welding so you shouldn't take my word for it. I have a bunch of pictures here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...on-videos.html

I was hoping to get more opinions on what other people think they looked like but my thread kind of died of instead.

Sorry for the kind of off topic, but then again it is kind of on topic if you want a set of 600 dollar stainless headers and y. It's a gamble though, not that great of a company or customer service

I got the slp cold air intake, lid, smooth bellow, maf, and ported throttle body and its a pretty good start.

I would get those over exhaust first till you figure out what you really want. I dont know if the underdrive pulley is worth it or not I might get it eventually.

4.10 For the M6 is one of the best starting mods you can do IMHO. Made the car more fun to drive compared to the Lid and catback.
Id go lid cat back and gear.

i say lt's and ORY or do what i did and completely change your whole exhaust. i got pacesetter longtubes AND tsp duals for less than 500. you just gotta look in the parts classified section if you want used. But if you want new just stick with lt's and a y pipe

i would say if your planning on spending a grand wait and do headers/True Duals. I have LPP and didn't have any problems where others have. Safest way would be pacesetters and tsp true duals but it will be more $$ and not stainless.

For $500, def a lid and ls6. Cheap and easy and will require minor street tuning for the air fuel ratio.

Will you be doing your own installing? Or farming it out to a mechanic? That changes costs a lot unless you have a buddy that works for food and beer (like me).

For the grand, I'd go the LT exhaust route and full (street/wot) tune.

Can the WOT tuning be done by the street tuner, or does it have to be done on a dyno?

Probably easier to dyno tune, but something like HP tuners that has the ability to record and a laptop will do just as well. There are a lot of guys who tune at the track and the like, all you need is a good straight away and an absence of traffic and cops....

But the cost of HP tuners, plus the time to learn is about the same as a full tune at most tuners, and more than a mail order tune from Frost. A Good investment if you plan on doing a lot of constant tweaking, but for a one off tune, let a known expert do it.

I'm going to do most of the work myself. as long as i dont need to put the car on a lift i can handle it.
