I think the price is on the high side, but nothing crazy. I would have guessed closer to $14k-$16k. It's hard to say how much the low mileage adds to the value of the car. To get any value out of it, he's gotta sell it to a collector, and a collector is going to want a true LE 35th anniversary edition Camaro SS. Just because it's a 2002 doesn't make it a 35th anniversary camaro. That's like calling all 1999 Trans Am aniversary editons.

So what would a clean, 2002 with 50k miles bring? $12,000, maybe less. Low mileage only adds value to collectibles, and I'm not sure this is that collectible.

With 4300 miles Im pretty sure that's gonna be a collectible with such low mileage.

If he had more slp options I think the car would have sold already. SS grille/chrome wheels/Center mounted exhaust works wounders

But didn't all of the 2002 Camaro's come with a 35th Anniversry tag on the dash? I believe so, ...

I think you meant, just because it's a 2002 doesn't make it one of the 'LE', (Limited Edition), models?

Low mileage doesn't equal collectible. The market for 4th gen collecitbles hasn't shown itself yet, but typically what makes a car collectible is rarity, and I'm sure there were more black 2002 SS made than any other combination that year. So low mileage adds to the value, but doesn't make it a collectors item.

For a more or less stock SS with no SLP options, not a legit 35th LE, and aftermarket parts installed I think all it really has going for it is the miles. So to me it is over priced. All the after market pieces would help a bit, but not really for a collectible though.

It is a pretty garage queen though. I just wouldn't drop 18k on it for the mods done, or for the possibility that 4th gens ever become collectible.

So I didn't mean to start this as a priced thread or any of that. But anyway, Thanks for answering my questions for the most part. Still don't understand the SLP Car number plate on the head question. So where did the one that I have come from? Aftermarket? SLP? All this time I thought SLP put them on every car. Learn something new everyday.

Wouls the 02s that came with the LS6 block come with the 243 heads or the 241 heads? I also believe some of the T/A's in 02 came with a LS6 and 243's.

my 2002 ws6 came with the ls6 block but thats it...everything else was ls1 except for the ls6 intake. that motor is now not in the car anymore lol
